Boy What a Night

Day 2:
The College Blog

Hello again,

So after the most amazing night of my life it was time do something good in the community. I woke up around 9am to the ridiculous Laker alarm my brother gave me before I left California. It was time to do the whole hygiene thing before I left. I grab my bag, put on my shower shoes, and head to the bathrooms. I pull each shower curtain back to see which one is the cleanest. That was a mistake. There was a piece of crap in the middle of one of the showers. How disgusting right? I wasn't surprised.

After that adventure I'm heading back to my dorm room when the most beautiful girl is walking through this all male dorm. Wow, she was amazing! Long brown hair, great body, and eyes that instantly made me nervous. I said hello as I passed by wondering who that was.

As I got back to my room I asked my roommate Walter, a rich kid from Delaware who that beautiful lady was. He told me it was Jeanine the new hall director. Oh boy was I excited. This means that I could see her again.

So I was heading to Washington Elementary to meet my new little brother Lamar. He was a troubled 2nd grader who was raised by his cousins. As I walk into the elementary I see a lady and a child walking towards me. As they get closer I recognize the lady. Low and behold it was one of the women we went out with the night before. What a small world. She said hello in a very professional manner. I signed the paper work and was heading out when she said hey. I turned, wondering what could she possibly want. She told me to call her later. I turned away and proceeded to walk away with Lamar.

Lamar and I headed over to the cafeteria to get some grub before going to shoot some hoops. He cost me 9 dollars. Now that may seem like chump change but I spent so much money the night before. We ate and headed to the court.

We arrived at the basketball court where we began shooting around when I noticed he hasn't said two words to me yet. I start a conversation asking him what he likes to do and what are his hobbies. He loves basketball and skateboarding. Who would of thunk it? He is a L.A. Laker fan and wanted to go to a game. I told him if he stops talking in class and starts getting better grades I would take him to one. He was the most excited kid and promised to do his best.

I started to like the kid, I think he is just misunderstood at school. His parents died when he was younger and lived with his cousins ever since. I felt for the kid. He told me that one of his teachers called him dumb and said he would get nowhere with his attitude. He is in second grade how bad could he be? I made plans to go see him interact in class one day in the coming up week.

It was time for me to return him to his teacher and continue with my day. I bought some books for class, cleaned up, and waited night to fall. My roommate wanted to go to a club but I was still a little shy and didn't want to go. The hall director passed knocked on my door while I was laying down and asked me if I wanted to go to the mall with her. I said sure why not.(trying to play it cool) I got dressed and headed out with her. She had a car, I couldn't believe it. She was also only 20. I thought she was a lot older. She told me she was a senior though. She skipped two years. Wow, what a girl.

We walked around the mall, got some food, and headed back to her place. She said she left something at her place. We arrive and she tells me I can come up if I wanted to. So I do. The place was nice, not like my old dorm. She lived by herself in a three bedroom apartment. I don't understand why but hey, whatever floats your boat. I asked her if she got what she needed and she said she does now as she gazed into my eyes. Would you believe it, she kissed me. I was instantly in love. I think she wanted to do it, but I was so nervous I just kept kissing her. That was it! She was mad at me because I didn't know what I was doing so she said she was ready to go after like five minutes of making out.

Embarrassed and ashamed I walked away from the car and I guess she felt bad for me because she said maybe next time hun. I smirked and proceeded to walk inside. Sorry I didn't lose anything this night.

Go With The Flow

So you thought this was going to be about hitting the books did you? No, no, no! I want every college kid in the world to have the greatest time just like I did. Where should I start?

Day 1:
The College Blog

After the whole orientation was over I met a guy named Jon. Now I was a very sheltered kid before I came to college so I was not really into much. Anyway, Jon and I was walking aimlessly down the A&T strip when these two females drove passed us in a Mercedes CLK. They were absolutely gorgeous. Since I was shy Jon yelled to get their attention. I guess it worked because they stopped and gave us a ride to our dorms. I definitely forget their names now but I'm sure they will always remember me and Jons.

Jon and I exit the Mercedes and start walking away from the car. I didn't want the night to end though. This was my first time away from my parents and all the freedom in the world was handed to me. I slowly turned around and asked the driver, " Uhhh, do you all want to show us around?" She replied, "Sure Loser." Boom, Bam, SCORE! That was the last day of me being that loser. Jon and I ran up stairs got dressed and was ready for whatever may come that night.

As we got into the car the girls wanted to know how old we were. I said I was 20 as Jon said he was 21. I'm pretty sure these girls knew we were lying. They were 22. So the first stop was a house party. I've never been to one before but I think I liked it. There were girls everywhere and all they kept saying to me was how cute and young I was. I was never cute and young in high school. Jon was right at home apparently, he left me at the front door to fend for myself. One of the girls asked me if I wanted a drink and I said sure. I thought it was punch...How Naive. I was wondering all along why the cups were so dog on small. After my seventh cup I asked someone what kind of punch this was. They said it was Ever Clear and to be careful cause it is some strong alcohol. Wow, thanks for telling me. I never had a drink in my life and now I'm an instant alcoholic? At that moment I felt something...Something Cool. I saw a girl in the corner that I was nervous to talk to the whole night until now. I walked my young, alcoholic self over there and told her she was beautiful.

I woke up the next hour outside of the party on the grass. Jon was laughing hysterically. Apparently her boyfriend was standing right beside her and I disrespected him by moving him out the way to talk to her. I don't remember that. At least I had the confidence to go over there.

The night was far from over. I went to my first club after that. Yes, after I got punched in the face I was so tipsy that I wanted to still have a great night. We go to a really nice upscale place called "Good Luck Not Getting Shot in Here." Yes, it was amazing. The women were bending over dancing, the music was loud, and the bouncers were mean. The perfect place for a nerd to go on a Friday night. So I don't care about anything at this point I'm something the kids call wasted. I dance the night away, well I was teaching myself how to dance as I never went to a club before. The women kept laughing at me.

We leave the club at about 3 O'clock and low and behold the girls wanted to take us to one more place...The strip club. Now I went from being a sheltered teen that was not even allowed to go to Cosmo Bowling because it was at night time to Stiffler from American Pie. Why not though, you only live once. so we arrive at the strip club. This time it was an elegant place. No, really this place was much nicer than that piece of trash club we just left. The women were beautiful and they all wanted me or so I thought. They just wanted my money and boy did they get it. I had to spend at least 300 dollars that night. That might not seem like a lot to you, but I was already a struggling college student. I swear one of the ladies just had a c-section because she had stitches across her belly, strange I know.

So, the night was turning into morning and the women were ready to go. I had volunteered at a local elementary school so I had to be up in a few hours anyway. We leave and head back to the dorms. As I am taking a shower I'm reminiscing about what I've just done. Boy if I would have just walked in the dorm the first time I would have never drove around town, gone to my first house party, drink my first drink, get punched in the face, gone to my first and last thug club, gone to my first strip club, and spend all my money for the week... Yea right I wanted to do it all over again!

So step one in the necessary tips to college success is go with the flow. I did and will never forget it!
